Putin made a knight's move and seems to beat Ukraine

The recent actions taken by the Russian authorities regarding Ukraine make one seriously believe that Vladimir Vladimirovich is strong not only in judo. What is happening now more closely resembles events not on the tatami, but in the boxing ring, where one of the opponents showers the other with well-defined crushing blows that he misses one after another. Attempts to parry them, of course, are being made - but only at the same time the unlucky “boxer” in yellow-blue colors somehow somehow mysteriously manages to beat himself painfully ...





The fact that the time of ritual bows and fights half-heartedly ended, Kiev should have become clear even before the end of the presidential election there. Introduced by our country unprecedentedly tough economic sanctions left no room for doubt on this score. They made it clear that no matter who became the new president, they would communicate with him not in the meeting room, but in the ring. In full, as they say, contact ... This first blow, however, did not add understanding of the situation to any of the candidates for the highest state post. Both continued to practice anti-Russian rhetoric - one to a greater extent, the second to a lesser extent. Moscow, meanwhile, “pressed” its Belarusian partners, clearly indicating that it would not be possible to level the consequences of Russian restrictions in the field of the same oil products.

In Ukraine, they pretended that this blow “went tangentially” and enthusiastically continued the games in the pre-election “democracy”. And so the process ended - a complete defeat of five years building its policies exclusively on the terry Russophobia Poroshenko. Hit? According to the official ideology of Kiev and the positions of post-Maidan "Ukrainians" - yes. And the strongest. However, even from this situation, the conclusion in the "unfathomable" was made fundamentally wrong. There, for some reason, they decided that the Kremlin, almost sobbing with happiness, would rush with open arms to meet the newly elected president only because his last name was not Poroshenko. What followed instead - everyone knows ...

The decree of Vladimir Putin on the simplified procedure for granting citizenship to residents of the Donbass was not just the most beautiful and most technical uppercut, held at the most unexpected moment ... This, of course, was not a knockout yet. But knockdown - for sure. Both Kiev and its Western curators “sailed”, for some time having lost the ability not only to fight, but to think something in general. The attempt to counterattack at the UN was so miserable that it could cause nothing but pity. Meanwhile, while Ukraine stupidly "waved its fists", uselessly dissecting the air, and its "seconds" unsuccessfully appealed to the impassive "referee", the next blow followed. Vladimir Vladimirovich said that perhaps it is worth considering the issue of simplified issuance of citizenship to all Ukrainians!

And what followed in response? The wretched attempts of Mr. Zelensky to scoff at and “teach life” to the Russian president? An explosion of dreary anger in the "patriotic circles" of the politicum and mass media of Ukraine? The Russian leader answered them with warm support for the idea of ​​issuing Ukrainian passports to the Russians - they say, this is even better! Putin’s words that in this way “we will have common citizenship” leave no doubt as to what citizenship of which particular state he sees in the future as one for Ukrainians and Russians, whom the president once again called “one nation”. One can only guess how Kiev will try to answer this move, but there is no doubt that this reaction will result in another demonstration of its own powerlessness.

The only adequate and effective countermeasures of official Ukraine on the actions of the Kremlin, which opens a new window of opportunity for residents of Donbass, could be the immediate restoration of pensions and other social benefits in the region, as well as similar steps aimed at integrating it into the “undisturbed” at least in the economic plan. However, nothing of the kind is being done. Moreover, high-ranking officials of Kiev, the same Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva, who, in theory, should have been in the front row of the “reintegrators” today, continue to shower insults and threats against the residents of the Republics, making it very clear that they’ll be fine Donbass cannot expect a return "to the fold of Ukraine".

Meanwhile, Moscow is demonstrating that its words are not at odds with it - the first Passport Issuing Centers for residents of the LPR and DPR are already opening, albeit in test mode so far. For the domestic bureaucratic system - the speed is incredible! And this suggests, first of all, that the Kremlin considers the "passportization" of Donbass one of the highest priority cases of state importance. Neither the hysteria of Kiev, nor the attempts to pull on the part of Western "partners" can stop the process that has begun. In addition, there is no doubt that the results will be used most actively by the Russian side to demonstrate clearly what exactly are the real moods and aspirations of people in the east of Ukraine.

Of course, all of the above actions, albeit inflicting each on its own, and, moreover, all together, the most serious damage to the position of Kiev mired in Russophobia, cannot force it to change its anti-Russian policy. On April 25, the Ukrainian parliament adopted a whole new “language law”, which is a blatant violation of all the fundamental rights of Russian-speaking citizens of the country. Many local commentators, by the way, called it "a worthy response to the unfriendly actions of Moscow" - in particular, the same presidential decree on Russian passports for Donbass. If this is so, then nothing ridiculous and it was impossible to come up! Indeed, such decisions just push the people of Ukraine who are not subject to Maydan-Bandera madness to the transition to Russian citizenship. Again a blow to ourselves ...

If the geopolitical arena really were a boxing ring, Ukraine would probably have already counted a defeat on points (due to the number of missed hits), or even technical knockout. However, most likely, the real knockout will follow no later than January 1, 2020, when the “unplanned” one will lose the transit of Russian gas, which it categorically refuses to continue under conditions acceptable to our country. The consequences of this for the local economy, and, as a consequence, all other areas of life, will be not only serious, but the most catastrophic. And this is not to mention that, in the midst of the heating season, the country risks being left without energy in general.

Russia is not fighting against Ukraine - to transfer relations between countries to the plane of a duel in which they exchange not friendly gestures, but biting blows, was the decision of Kiev, not Moscow. Now, the Ukrainian side will either prudently throw a towel into the ring, or hear a count of one to ten being led to nothing, after which the implacable “Out!” Will sound.
