Samsung will have a 13-inch flexible tablet
Recently, the flexible Galaxy Fold gadget from the Korean giant Samsung has attracted more and more attention. At first, the smartphone was recognized as the best in its class. Then it became known that the demo versions that were sent to reporters had problems with the screen. At the same time, the company promised to fix the problem by the beginning of mass sales, scheduled for April 26 this year and subsequently postponed for an indefinite period.
And so, on the eve, there was information that despite the “slightly tarnished” reputation, the manufacturer set out to expand the range of flexible devices. The Korean company has several relevant patents and, most likely, some of them will be translated into reality. Samsung plans to develop two devices at once by the end of the year. New items will receive displays with a diagonal of 8 and 13 inches.
Regarding the technical characteristics, it is only known that the successors of the flexible Galaxy will fold in two places: the 8-inch model only inwards, but in the 13-inch tablet, which is comparable in size to the largest iPad Pro, one part will fold out. As mentioned above, both devices should be a continuation of the Fold line. Therefore, we can assume that their filling, at least, will not be inferior to its predecessor.
