The Russians who left for the West pack their bags in Russia

2
An interesting trend was noticed by experts in the premium real estate market. Our compatriots currently living abroad are again actively interested in Russian elite square meters.

The fourth quarter of 2017 was a record in the history of cross-border transfers from abroad with the aim of buying real estate in Russia: 122 million dollars were returned to our country. Compared to the same period in 2016, an increase of 36%. And in the first quarter of this year 2018, the growth in the number of applications from abroad for the acquisition of expensive real estate in the Russian Federation amounted to 21%.

The wave of re-emigration of the "business elite" has already revived the premium property market in Moscow and the Moscow Region. It is noteworthy that after 2014, when the period of cooling relations between Russia and Western countries began, where the Russian nouveau riche traditionally keep their assets and have mansions and palaces, the process was the opposite. The so-called "business elite" sought to leave the ship sinking, as it seemed to them. Elite apartments and palaces on Rublevka were sold at huge discounts, reaching 30%, if only to have time to sell, go to the cache and have time to “dump” from Russia.

Now the opposite trend is observed. Among the "returnees" there are businessmen who are disappointed in the realities of doing business in the West. Indeed, the profitability of entrepreneurship in the civilized western countries cannot be compared with Russian "dashing" profits. However, Western "civilization" has a downside. Great Britain showed its predatory grin, waving at the capital of Russian origin. In this country, a special law was passed in 2017, giving the right to local law enforcement agencies to demand evidence of the legality of the origin of assets worth more than £ 50. The same legislative act made it possible to arrest and confiscate dubious assets, from the point of view of the British. The United Kingdom does not hide the fact that this regulatory act is aimed primarily at the Russians in order to exert political pressure. It is not surprising that most of those interested in elite square meters in Russia are from the UK.

Interestingly, the "returnees" have changed their approach to the selection of expensive real estate in the Russian Federation. Previously, buyers were usually interested in a palace with an average cost of about 60 million rubles, but now in one application they request several objects for 30-40 million at once.

So the problems with landfills in the suburbs will have to be solved for real. Otherwise, what will they breathe here?

Landfill problems should not be addressed by property owners, but by authorized local authorities. No need to do a substitution of concepts.
