Convertible Aurus first shown without camouflage

The new ceremonial Aurus brand convertible was first shown to the public without camouflage, hiding the outlines of its body. This happened at the rehearsal of the Victory Parade, which took place at the Alabino training ground in the suburbs.

The rehearsal was attended by representatives of the TV channel "Star"who filmed everything that happens.

The new car of the Cortege series with a convertible top was created by FSUE NAMI by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The entire batch of cars consists of three units, two of which participate in the rehearsal of the Parade, and the third is in the process of assembly.

The car is almost no different from the Senat S600 sedan from the same series, but it has some structural differences. Unlike the Senate, the new car has two doors instead of four, though wider ones. A platform is equipped near the driver’s seat and a special handrail is fixed. He is needed so that the person accepting the parade rode while standing and could hold on. The car is equipped with a soft folding top, which can be cleaned in a designated niche located behind the rear seats.

The new Aurus convertible will replace the ZIL-41041 AMG, previously used as a ceremonial car.
