New sanctions of the Russian Federation will hardly affect export to Ukraine

1
The decision of the Government of the Russian Federation to ban the export of products to Ukraine will affect only 1,2 percent of all goods. This information is contained in the data of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation.

The sanctions included goods whose supply last year amounted to $ 118,4 million. Given the fact that, according to the results of the year, the total export of products to a neighboring country reached $ 9,5 billion, as a percentage the ban touched only 1,2 percent of all annual exports to Ukraine. Basically, the restriction affected the supply of crude oil and refined products. True, not all of them, since for most of them exceptions to the rules were made.

Of course, such restrictions will not become tangible for the Ukrainian side. A much bigger problem will be the requirement for Russian exporters to obtain permits from the Ministry of Economic Development for the supply of certain types of products. This list includes about 41 percent of all exports to Ukraine. And we are talking about a strategically important group of goods for Kiev. This included coal, coke, diesel fuel. Last year, $ 3,9 billion was shipped from Russia to Ukraine.

New sanctions against Ukraine also affected imports. Now from the neighboring state it will not be possible to import into Russia shoes, women's clothing, bulldozers, pipes, paper and other goods.

The best sanctions are to stop the import of Svidomites to Russia. Herds of svidomity, scouring the country, are more dangerous than any bulldozer.
