April 15 was the national tragedy of the French. Flames engulfed one of the main attractions of Paris - Notre Dame Cathedral. They managed to cope with the fire only after 14 hours. The roof as well as the spire of the building were completely destroyed. Several days passed, the tears in his eyes dried up, and it was time to find the culprit in what had happened.





Of course, thanks to God, so far no one in the West has obvious suspicions of a “Kremlin hand”. But, as they say, it is not yet evening. Moreover, some indirect criticism of our country has already been followed.

The photo taken by correspondents of the French office of the Sputnik news agency (a subsidiary of the Russian news agency Russia Today) provoked heated discussions on French social networks. On it, two young men of Arab appearance in high spirits crawl through a tape fence. The scene takes place against the backdrop of the burning Notre Dame Cathedral.

Residents of France hastened to reproach Sputnik for promoting intolerance towards Islam. Prominent French journalists picked up the wave. So, the editor-in-chief of the 20Minutes newspaper, Od Lorio, accused her on her Facebook page news agency in attempts to incite hatred of Muslims in France. According to the media official, Sputnik should have added a comment to the photo explaining who these people are and why they are smiling.

True, later Aude Lorio thought better of it, deleted her message and apologized.
