Signal to Russia and China: US is preparing a tough scenario for Venezuela

4
The United States of America has seriously decided to put things in order in its “backyard,” which, according to the Monroe Doctrine, they consider the entire Western Hemisphere. Washington introduced new sanctions against Venezuela, as well as against Cuba and Nicaragua, making it clear that they are the following. The first Americans intend to “corner” official Caracas. How far will the US and Russia be prepared to go in their quest to maintain their influence in Latin America?

Head of State Department Mike Pompeo bluntly stated:

It is a pity that the past US administration allowed Russia to spread its influence in Cuba and throughout the Western Hemisphere. We are very focused on correcting (this situation). Venezuela is one of such places, but we see (the influence of Russia) in other places.

In fact, the State Department is overestimating the degree of Kremlin influence in Havana, since the times of the USSR have long been in the past, and Cuba’s many-billion-dollar debts were recently almost completely written off by Moscow. It neatly follows the path of market reforms, actively working not only with Russian, but also with European and, more important for the USA, Chinese companies. Havana is blamed политическая support and active military cooperation with Caracas. Pompeo resents the “illegal” presence of Cuban soldiers in Venezuela.

Nicaragua, on the other hand, “violated” Washington because of its readiness, together with the PRC, to dig an alternative Panama shipping channel, which was supposed to pass at least 5100 ships a year. It was assumed that this navigable artery would be used to supply Venezuelan oil to the PRC. The project is currently frozen due to lack of investment from the Chinese side. But who knows what decisions in the context of an increasing trade war with Washington will be made in Beijing in the future? It is strategically important for the United States to close the very possibility of China opening its own window to the Atlantic.

But the first to "put in place" the Americans will be indicative of Venezuela as the weakest link in the Caribbean. The American media reported that the Pentagon has begun to work out military decisions aimed at:

To question any Russian, Cuban or Chinese point of view that they can have unhindered access to the region.

In fact, we can talk about the naval and air blockade of Venezuela. Being isolated, official Caracas will not be able to withstand the onslaught of internal problems and external pressure for a long time. If some Russian or Chinese vessels with “forbidden goods” are intercepted in the Caribbean at their own risk, the US Navy will act in accordance with its “Monroe Doctrine”. Needless to say, how serious can the escalation of the conflict in the United States backyard lead to?

How can Moscow help the Maduro regime? To be honest, not much. Russia cannot send any large military contingents to Venezuela. If the blockade is implemented, then its supply will become impossible, and the attempt to “break through” can end very deplorably and humiliatingly. Our country today does not have the necessary strength to project it at such a distance, and even in the "backyard" of the United States.

What can be done really? Help military instructors who will train the Venezuelan military to resist external aggression. To send experts from the Ministry of Emergencies to train local personnel for emergency response, which is very important for modern Venezuela. Probably, it is worth forgetting the requirements for repayment of debts issued in the form of loans to Caracas. Perhaps that's all.

The rest of the efforts of the Russian leadership should be devoted to the development of their country, its industrialization and mobilization economics. And it would be possible to show the West its readiness to defend national interests by tightly putting things in order in its own “backyard”, Ukraine. Steps in this direction can be considered evidence of the Kremlin’s real readiness to go to some victory in the confrontation with the United States.

As soon as the Americans begin their military aggression against Venezuela, we, too, should not sit idly by. We must finally stop chewing snot. It is high time to finish our infantile policy towards the territories in our "backyard", and first of all to Ukraine. It's time to move from words to deeds and snatch it from the Western clutches. This is the very last opportunity to prevent the West from gaining a foothold in its territory forever.

This is actually a signal from Russia. China will modestly step aside. They act according to the precepts of Mao: "China is like a wise monkey, sitting on a tree and watching two tigers fight." So I think, apart from clapping their tongues at the UN, there is no help from them.

In fact, things are as follows: sooner or later, but Russia will have to fight the United States for destruction.
There is simply nothing else given. OR OR.

You have to start from your own backyard before climbing into someone else's backyard. Then the attitude will be different.
