Five British Apache helicopters will save Estonia from Russia

On April 18, 2019, Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid, who is an outspoken Russophobia, will visit Russia on a surprise visit. This is a historic moment, because the head of this small, arrogant, but poor country will visit the big and rich eastern neighbor for the first time in ten years, who is regularly accused of “harassment”. So the Estonians really beg for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In order to somehow morally support the fading North Atlantic unity, the UK decided to make a symbolic gesture in the style of “hold on, the whole world is with you”. Then she sent five attack helicopters Apache (Apache) to Estonia, as a "deterrent to the likely threat" from Russia. At the same time, the British Sky News channel described in detail, with reference to the country's defense minister Gavin Williamson, how foggy Albion takes care of Estonia.

Armada Putin will not pass now! There simply can be no doubt about it. After all, the five Apaches mentioned will be supported in place by as many as four AW159 Wildcat helicopters. It should be noted that Wildcat arrived in Estonia on the eve and now colleagues are waiting. But this is only part of the program "not moving" NATO to the East and "not building up" the military presence of the Alliance at the borders of Russia.

This is a very real threat that we see from Russia. One of the reasons that we deploy five Apache attack helicopters is that we are constantly adapting to the changing situation.

- said the Secretary of Defense of the United Kingdom.

It must be recalled that the more often Moscow declares that it is not going to attack any of the NATO countries or any other country, the more active and belligerent are the “partners”.
