US prepares for space wars with Russia and China
The US leadership continues to dream of "star wars." Acting United States Secretary of Defense Patrick Shenahan said Russia and China threaten Washington’s interests in space.
The head of the Pentagon is convinced that if a large-scale world conflict begins, its results will depend on which countries will most effectively manifest themselves in the "space" part of the hostilities. At the same time, he emphasized that Russia and China are intensely militarizing outer space precisely with the goal of confronting the United States.
Shenahan accused Beijing and Moscow of turning space into a battlefield, although they speak in word at the UN for concluding space agreements that they themselves will not follow. The head of the Pentagon called the space threats from China and Russia not future, but real, and noted that Washington is not going to just watch the growth of military activity of its competitors in space, but will take appropriate measures.

Thus, the Pentagon is concerned about the growing activity of Iran and North Korea in space exploration. Independent space launches, according to the United States, are needed by these countries in order to test the possibility of using ballistic missiles against America.
