Groysman said that prevents the development of the economy of Ukraine
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, the main task of the government for the next few years is the effective management of external public debt. Such information appeared on the official government website.
According to the Prime Minister, the state debt of Ukraine was “inadequately increased” from 2008 to 2013. This, according to Groisman, has become the main cause of the economic downturn that is happening today. As you know, at that time Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovich who succeeded him were at the helm of the country. In other words, the "successors" are to blame for everything.
As a result, Ukrainian economy, squeezed in a vice by a huge external debt, it is not possible to channel funds for the development of infrastructure and social needs.
The head of government claims that since 2016, the amount of debt began to decline gradually and has already reached a completely safe level. By the end of 2019, according to Groysman's forecasts, it will be half of the state budget, and after two years - “only” 41,4 percent.
On the other hand, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova said that this year Ukraine intends to borrow about another 4 billion dollars. Despite the fact that Kiev did not fulfill the basic requirements of the IMF, at the end of last year, this international organization approved Ukraine another loan tranche worth $ 3,9 billion.
