US "reel fishing rods" in Syria

1
US President Donald Trump made a statement claiming to be a sensation. It turns out that his country is ready to leave Syria very soon. Speaking in Ohio, in Richfield, Trump said that Washington kicked the spirit out of the “Islamic State” (“IG”, an organization banned in the Russian Federation).

We will leave Syria, like, very soon. Let other people take care of this now ... We are going to leave there very soon, to return to our country, to which we belong, in which we want to be

The head of state proclaimed, as if returning during his election campaign when he criticized previous US President Barack Obama for interfering in Syrian affairs. He recalled that previous US authorities spent seven trillion dollars on a war in the Middle East.

These statements by Donald trump seem unexpected if you look at the real actions of the United States in Syria, as well as on previous statements by those in power. So, only recently, in January 2018, US Vice President Michael Pence made a statement that the United States should be present in Syria not only for the defeat of the “Islamic State”, but also for deterring a “hostile” Iran. And Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who was dismissed by Trump, while still in office, said that US forces in Syria should become a “stabilizing factor” affecting the Geneva talks.

Of course, the true goal of the United States in Syria is also known. If all beautiful words are discarded, then it is one - to change the power in the country, to remove the unwanted government of Bashar al-Assad and the Party of the Arab Socialist Renaissance, to establish a leader loyal to Washington. For more than seven years of the Syrian war, this has not been possible. But Washington, all these years, did not lose hope of fulfilling its plans, moving from one method of pressure to another, arranging, among other things, provocations using chemical weapons.

And suddenly, Donald Trump claims that the Americans “want to go to their country,” criticizing his predecessor for trillions of dollars “burnt” in the Middle Eastern sands!

It seems, however, that not everything is so simple. Even if the tycoon president really wants to save money and stop mocking Syria, one gets the feeling that the environment will not allow him to take such steps. For example, during a briefing by US Department of State spokesman Heather Nauert, she was asked if US troops would really leave Syria. She answered quite evasively:

I can only say that I did not see the president’s statements about this

Earlier, in December 2017, Trump already said that the “Islamic state” in Syria and Iraq was “won”. However, American troops are still without any legal basis in Syria, training the militants of the "opposition" and even striking Russian citizens (as it was on the night of February 8 in the province of Deir ez-Zor).

You can also recall how many years Washington withdrew its troops from Iraq after the invasion of the country in 2003. Only in 2011, a long-standing promise was fulfilled (at least this was officially announced). However, even today, US troops are in Iraq - already under the pretext of fighting the ISIS.

Meanwhile, on the evening of March 29, as a result of a improvised explosive device in Syria, two soldiers of the American “coalition” located in this country were killed and five more were injured. This was reported (without unnecessary details) by the press service of the coalition. Earlier, an American helicopter crashed on the border of Syria and Iraq, while seven soldiers were killed. Meanwhile, in the province of Raqqah in the city of Al Mansoura confrontation continues locals with Syrian Democratic Forces militants supported by Washington.

All these “bells and whistles” say: if Trump really wants the military of his country to return home, then it is the right time to do it.

Apparently Trump learned to launch fakes from his political opponents inside the country. The United States will never leave Syria, in particular, and the Middle East in general. I mean the foreseeable future within 1-2 generations.
