1
Preparation for the introduction of unmanned public transport in Russian cities continues. The day before, the head of Roskosmos, D. Rogozin, announced that the Invitor company, a branch of the Khrunichev Center and the Ust-Katavsky Tram Plant are developing a prototype of a medical tram. On Monday, March 25, the assembly of the first instance has already begun.

Rogozin also noted that the cost of the latest low-floor tram with Wi-Fi will be much cheaper than the existing domestic counterparts. So, for example, the average price of trams purchased by the city authorities is about 36 million rubles, and the brainchild of the Ust-Katavsky Tram Plant will cost 10 million cheaper.

Plus, it became known that the equipment of the new unmanned tram will be favorably different from its other “public” colleagues. The device provides a version that includes medical equipment and a car driver, where any of the passengers, if desired, will be able to undergo a minimum medical examination.

According to the head of Roskosmos, the implementation of this project was made possible thanks to the reorganization of the Khrunichev Center, where each of the branches now has the status of an independent legal entity. faces. About the timing of the manufacture of the prototype and the first tests are not yet known.
