US Army will purchase 10 thousand missiles for a possible war with Russia
The US military is conducting diverse preparations for possible military operations against Russia and China, which are called “US rivals” in the new defense strategy.
One of the American military-related portals announced the Pentagon’s intention to purchase more than 10 thousand guided missiles, ground-to-ground, which are used in multiple launch rocket systems.
According to the publication, the scope of these missiles could be the US war against Russia and China.
According to available information, the Pentagon plans to include funds in the 2020 military budget for the purchase of a record number of missiles of this class over the past three years - 10 units.
Recall that in 2018 the military department requested the purchase of 6936 missiles, and in 2019 - 8101 missiles.
Missiles of multiple launch rocket systems have a wide range of actions and are designed to destroy field artillery, air defense systems, concentrations of manpower and equipment the adversary.
