The automatic "first-aid post of the future" will replace a visit to a doctor

Among Internet users, medical online consultations have recently gained great popularity. However, such a service is unlikely to solve the health problem, and even more so replace the visit to a "living" specialist. Another thing is an innovation called OnMed. This high-tech station, although it does not reach a full-fledged visit to the clinic, but significantly enhances the presence of a doctor and in most cases allows you to get the necessary help.

Externally, the futuristic first-aid post is a small booth. Here, the patient will be able to remotely consult with a specialist and even get the prescribed medicine. Sensors are installed inside the station, which, in addition to external examination through video equipment, provide the doctor with data on the patient's height, weight, blood pressure, body temperature, BMI and breathing.

As soon as the consultation is over, the visitor will be automatically issued medications prescribed by the specialist. OnMed has hundreds of the most common drugs available. But, if the necessary funds are not available, the station will print a prescription for the pharmacy.

On average, one visit to the “first-aid post of the future” takes about 15 minutes. It is worth noting that OnMed strictly respects confidentiality measures. The examination room is reliably hidden from prying eyes, and the conversation with the doctor is not available to third parties.

According to the developers, high-tech medical stations will appear in the United States this year. It is assumed that OnMed booths will be located in colleges, hotels, airports and offices of large companies.
