On the eve it became known that the Korean giant Samsung will continue to develop flexible devices. This is indicated by a patent published by the company, which describes a model of a smartphone that can be worn on the wrist, thereby replacing a smart bracelet or smart watch.

As a matter of fact, the direction chosen by the manufacturer is quite justified. The wearable device market is showing steady growth, which, according to most experts, will continue in the coming years.

Based on the drawings published in the patent, published by the publication LetsGoDigital, we can conclude that the device will have a “vertically elongated” display, reminiscent of the one used in the new Sony Xperia 1. Thanks to the hinges consisting of many elastic segments, the device can be wrapped around the wrist like a bracelet. Instead of a “fastener” magnets are used in the upper and lower parts.

To fix the device in the smartphone position, a special lock is located on the rear panel. It is known that the device will receive dual main and front cameras. But the detailed characteristics of the gadget, as well as the possible date of its release by the manufacturer, have not been disclosed.
