In Geneva, showed the world's first tires for flying cars

Before flying cars got accustomed to the industry and moved from the "realm of fantasy" to everyday life, Goodyear had already bothered to present tires for futuristic vehicles. The novelty was called Aero and in all its glory was shown at the last exhibition in Geneva.

The essence of the innovation is that it will be able to combine wheels for driving on the highway and a propeller that provides the car with a flight. So, while a flying car moves on the ground, the tires will be perpendicular. As soon as the driver decides to take off, two diagonally spaced wheels will take a horizontal position and will be used as propellers.

After the aircraft is torn off the ground, the remaining two wheels will also stand horizontally to provide vertical lift. And when the required height is reached, the bearing propeller tires will once again change their position (like aircraft engines), which will allow unusual transport to start moving forward.

Due to the fact that innovative wheels replacing the propeller must rotate at high speed, they will use a magnetic power plant that provides zero friction. In addition, special sensors will monitor the tread wear and the current condition of the road. Further, all the collected data will be transferred to the on-board computer with AI, which will select the optimal mode of control of the "transport of the future".
