Up to 450 km / h: the most high-tech hypercar goes into a series

Appeared on the eve news, which clearly will deprive sleep lovers "ride with the breeze." It turns out that the most high-tech hypercar Koenigsegg Jesko, but it is difficult to name this monster in another way, will go into series. The manufacturer plans to release 125 copies at an “immodest” price of $ 3 million per piece.

Perhaps it’s worth starting with the power of a car. The designers managed to “squeeze” out of the five-liter V-shaped Twin-Turbo as many as 1600 “horses”, which allows Koenigsegg Jesko to accelerate to 450 km / h. At the same time, the torque reaches an incomprehensible 1500 N / m.

Especially for fans of extreme speeds in the sports car, a secret 9-speed transmission was installed. It is worth noting that the delay between switching here is almost zero. In addition, the design of the car, thought out to the smallest detail, provides a downforce of 1400 kg, which will not allow you to "fly" off the track when peak speeds are reached.

To provide additional maneuverability, Koenigsegg Jesko was equipped with an adaptive active rear-wheel steering system, which allows them to be rotated by 3 degrees. The car body is made of carbon fiber, and the wheels measuring 21x12 inches, also made of carbon fiber, are by far the largest of those installed on serial cars.
