Created an electric sports car with charging in 5 minutes
The industry of electric cars will soon replenish with another bright representative. The concept was developed by a Swiss-German startup Piëch Automotive. As a result, manufacturers managed to create a sports car with "enviable" characteristics, one of which was the ability to charge up to 80% in just 4 minutes and 40 seconds.
The “masterpiece” of design thought was called Piëch Mark Zero. The design of the GT class car is made in an aggressive style, and its dimensions are 4432 × 1991 × 1250 mm. In order for an electric sports car to accelerate to 100 km, it takes only 3,2 seconds. The maximum speed in this case will be 250 km / h (apparently there is an electronic restriction).
The power platform employs as many as 3 electric motors with a capacity of 150 kW each. One - asynchronous is located in front, the other two - in the rear, which allowed to implement different driving modes and use an all-wheel drive system.
The battery pack used in the Piëch Mark Zero deserves special attention. According to the statements of the designers, it does not require an additional cooling system (quite airy), which allowed to reduce the total weight of the car. By the way, the latter is equal to 1800 kg.
The developers at the moment have presented only a prototype electric car. About when it goes on sale, however, as well as about its value, nothing is yet known.
