A real “brick”: Energizer showed a gigantic smartphone
Earlier it became known that Energizer plans to “turn” the smartphone industry upside down, releasing a device with a battery capacity of 18 mA / h. And now, despite the common skepticism from many users, the most “charged” brand presented its brainchild at MWC 000.
As promised by the company’s representatives, the Power Max P18K Pop smartphone has acquired the truly most powerful battery in the world, which can stand up to 50 days in standby mode. Music lovers will be able to listen to tracks for 100 hours in a row, and movie fans will enjoy watching videos for 2 days.
Impressive! But, as they say: "You have to pay for everything." For the sake of "super endurance" of the smartphone, the manufacturer had to sacrifice its design. So, the dimensions of the device are 153 × 74,8 × 18 mm, which does not fit into modern standards. In this regard, the device is somewhat reminiscent of a brick. How else? It is unlikely that such a battery can be “shoved” into an ultra-thin smartphone.
Energizer Power Max P18K Pop, equipped with a "retractable" frontal with two sensors: 16 and 2 megapixels. The main camera is three-module: 12, 5 and 2 megapixels. The device is running on the MediaTek Helio P70 CPU. The amount of RAM and physical memory is 6 and 128 GB, respectively.
In addition, the device has a 6,2-inch Full HD + screen. The shell is Android 9.0 Pie. On the shelves Power Max P18K Pop should appear in June. The price announced by the manufacturer was 600 euros.
