And so, at the MWC 2019 exhibition, LG showed 2 flagship models that could well compete for the leadership in the industry.

The main attention, of course, was focused on the smartphone LG G8 ThinQ. There were many rumors about him, most of which were eventually confirmed. So, the device really received an infrared ToF module, which is capable of recognizing three-dimensional objects in motion and can be used not only to scan the face, but also to control applications through gestures.

However, the advantages of the new products do not end there. The 6,1-inch OLED display of the device received Crystal Sound technology, which allows the screen to "emit" sound. In other words, the screen acts as a membrane and reproduces sound through vibrations. Plus, the LG G8 ThinQ is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 855, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory, as well as a dual-module main camera: 12 and 16 megapixels.

The second flagship presented by the Korean giant at an exhibition in Barcelona was the LG V50 ThinQ. He did not get an infrared 3D camera. But the device received a 6,4-inch display, an additional sensor with a telephoto lens and 5G support.

Both devices are running Android 9.0. The cost and start date of sales of new products have not yet been announced.
