Nokia 9: revealed the characteristics of the “revolving” camera

1
The long-awaited flagship Nokia 9 PureView, which was supposed to see the light last year, was officially unveiled in Barcelona. An unusual five-module “revolving” type camera, a high-quality display and an affordable price make the new product as attractive as possible for users. But first things first.

To begin with, the developers didn’t “deceive” and actually placed a turret type camera consisting of five modules on the back of the device. Simultaneous shooting with 5 sensors provides the highest quality images. In addition, thanks to engineers from ZEISS, the device managed to implement special processing algorithms that allow you to improve the photo after shooting.

In total, the camera received 2 full-color and 3 monochrome sensors with a total resolution of 64 megapixels. Plus, the device has 5x zoom without loss of image quality and professional shooting mode in RAW.

Externally, Nokia 9 PureView does not look as innovative as its closest competitors. There are no "newfangled" cutouts in the screen, and the "bang" with a "chin" is quite wide by today's standards. But to the 6-inch screen there are no complaints. The display with an OLED matrix, perfect black color and HDR10 support undoubtedly corresponds to the level of a top camera phone.

The corners of the screen are rounded, and the aspect ratio is 18: 9, which provides 80% of the usable area with respect to the surface. On both sides of the case the device is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The “back” of the smartphone has a rounded shape, and the thickness of the aluminum edges with diamond processing is only 8 mm.

As for the “stuffing”, Nokia 9 PureView, as promised, received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of physical memory. The battery capacity is 3300 mAh. At the same time, the price of the new product is $ 699, which makes the flagship from Nokia one of the most affordable and upscale camera phones in the industry.
