The government refused to seize excess profits from business
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that reports in a number of media outlets that the government was planning to seize excess profits from the rich did not correspond to reality. In addition, large businessmen will not be obliged to participate in national projects.
Medvedev gave an interview to the results of the week on NTV. One of the questions of the presenter sounded the phrase that they promised to take excess profits from the business, and then involve it in investment projects.
- explained Medvedev. When the journalist tried to continue her thought, saying that such an opportunity was being discussed, the head of government said that it was an incorrect interpretation.
According to him, the country's leadership does not intend to withdraw money for the implementation of national projects “from under the stick”. Businessmen themselves should feel an interest in participating in them. The task of the government is to create attractive conditions for entrepreneurs so that they, by financing national projects, understand what they can make money from.
Medvedev noted that such steps are already being taken. Currently under consideration are dozens of business projects totaling about 12 trillion rubles. At the same time, according to the prime minister, creating comfortable conditions for business, you can not allow him to "sit on the neck" of the state.
- he said.
The head of government added that the main thing is not to scare the business.
It should be noted that last summer, the assistant to the Russian president Andrei Belousov sent a proposal to the head of state. The idea was to find more than 500 billion rubles a year to finance strategic tasks at the expense of large mining, metallurgical, chemical and petrochemical companies. Subsequently, the proposal was adjusted: it was not about additional tax burdens on large companies, but about attracting them to investments in important state projects.

No, here no one promised them to take anything

When they tell us: we will do it, but you will definitely pay us 100 rubles for it ... But we cannot pay these 100 rubles, we have only 50 rubles for this project. Therefore, compromises must be sought and achieved. After this, a full-fledged public-private partnership will arise.
