Russia denied US global dominance

1
The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, considers the attempts of the United States to achieve global domination unrealizable. The Americans are trying to break the entire world arms control system, pursuing the impossible goal of obtaining world military superiority.

The ambassador said this in an interview with a news agency. TASSdiscussing the theme of the Treaty on intermediate and shorter-range missiles.

At the same time, the diplomat recalled that the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, had already given clear instructions to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, aimed at preventing imbalance in armaments and protecting Russia's national interests.

The measures to be taken have nothing to do with the arms race, as they do not involve excessive financial costs. And at the same time they make it possible to maintain military-strategic parity.

Antonov called the situation around the Medium and Shorter Range Missile Treaty (INF Treaty) critical. He then added that Russia had done everything possible to keep the missile agreement between Russia and the United States in force. But, apparently, the US leadership has already made the final decision to withdraw from it. This is indirectly indicated by the ultimatums of Washington, which obviously cannot be accepted by Russia. The ambassador’s thought is also supported by allegations of violation of the agreement that the United States is presenting to Moscow.

The diplomat does not exclude that the Americans in the very near future will begin work on the creation of missiles that are prohibited by the treaty. Moreover, the relevant items of expenditure are already included in the budget of the United States.

    A. Antonov said correctly. In the modern world, the US "global domination" by force is doomed to failure. Russia will not allow parity to be violated. In addition, there are China, India, Pakistan and other countries that are building up and modernizing their armed forces, including the INF and nuclear weapons.
