In Russia, they taught the computer to "guess" the wishes of the user

Kurchatov Institute employees invented an apparatus that, without exaggeration, is able to revolutionize the user interface industry. Since the advent of the PC, many ways of human interaction with the device have been proposed, ranging from the already familiar keyboard and mouse to remote control.

As for the brainchild of Russian developers, it fit two whole promising Technology: IT tracker (eye-catching) and neuro-interface. The device was called “Eye-brain-computer interface” (IGMK). Due to the symbiosis of the aforementioned methods of remote control, it was possible not only to highlight their advantages, but also to level out the disadvantages.

For example, when using cameras to track eyes, it is difficult for the device to clearly recognize the command. And in the case of neurointerface, the user needs to have appropriate training. Moreover, the number of teams is very limited. The essence of the innovative IGMK is that the IT tracker picks up an object on which the user's gaze has lingered (it does not need to strain consciousness), and the electroencephalogram simultaneously processes the impulse emanating from brain neurons. Thus, using a neurophysiological marker, you can understand what exactly a person wants to do with the selected object.

The work of the Kurchatov Institute in this area has already received the support of the Russian Science Foundation. The prototype of the device, resembling a helmet of virtual reality, looks rather cumbersome, but the designers are already working to minimize it. However, the main thing is that, according to experts, the IGMK complex in the future can be used not only in rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities, but also become a new standard in the field of user-computer interaction.

I wonder who oversees the Russian Science Foundation - isn't it Kiriyenko himself? Just imagine - citizens will be able to vote without leaving home! And to observe citizens without their consent is prohibited. Lepota!
