It seems that the work of Chinese designers from the Star UAV System on the world's first cargo UAV, capable of carrying loads of up to 1,5 tons, was crowned with success. Tests of the device called AT200 were carried out during 2017-2018. And so, the day before, a company representative announced the start of mass production of their brainchild.

The cargo AT200 is equipped with a turboprop engine and, in fact, is nothing more than an unmanned version of the New Zealand nine-seat P-750 XSTOL aircraft. As it became known, the device successfully passed all the tests and fully complies with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People's Republic of China, which allows launching it in the "series".

The Chinese "hero" became the first autonomous aircraft in the world that can carry loads of up to 1,5 tons. At the same time, the aircraft covers a distance of 2100 km. at a maximum height of up to 6100 m. and has a speed of up to 313 km / h. AT200 flight duration reaches 8 hours.

Control over the device is carried out by means of a mobile station. It provides both a voice control mode and a full autopilot, launched by pressing a single button. According to reports from the developer, the company has already signed a contract for the production of 50 cargo drones by 2022. In addition, the civilian AT200 aroused considerable interest in the Ministry of Defense of China.

It’s not difficult to start a finished airplane with electronics. But, well done anyway
