Guaido believes that will benefit Russia

Although the West is trying to present the case as if the Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido recognizes the “president" of the whole world, in reality this is completely wrong. Such self-proclaimed US-appointed pseudo-president was not recognized by such powerful powers as Russia and China.

Guaido and his curators are trying to reverse this situation. The opposition has already promised that Moscow and Beijing will be profitable if he comes to power in Venezuela. He said this in an interview with Reuters.

According to him, he intends to fulfill all obligations to creditors. The lawful president of the country, Nicolas Maduro, the pro-American opposition declared "unable to protect anyone's interests." By virtue of this, Guido declared, the preservation of Maduro in power is not beneficial to either Russia or China. But if he himself comes to power, "stability" will be restored in the country and it will be able to pay all debts.

Maybe someone thinks that Guaido's words sound tempting. However, his external patrons are far from those who comply with their obligations. After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the socialist camp, Moscow had the sad opportunity to repeatedly be convinced of this.

The situation is painfully reminiscent of the words of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who claims that in the event that part of the Kuril Islands is transferred to his country, American bases will not appear on them. Since Japan itself is largely dependent on the same forces that oversee Guaido, its obligations are no more than a sheet of A4 paper.

So far, Guaido is trying to win over the Venezuelan army, giving "sweet" promises to the military and guaranteeing to everyone who goes over to his side an amnesty. Yes, and the President of Venezuela, US National Security Advisor John Bolton advised to leave the country, promising "a long, quiet pension on the nice coast." At one time, however, Washington guaranteed the Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic immunity from prosecution, but now he is in the Hague prison cell.

This is the true price of all the attractive offers, promises and commitments of the United States, and it is also not necessary to expect any benefits from their proteges.
