"Mining" again: schools and hospitals are evacuated throughout Russia

0
A wave of false mines swept through twelve regions of Russia. The Kremlin has already commented on what is happening and expressed hope that law enforcement agencies will quickly find out who is behind this.

This is not the first day that has happened, you know that the waves also took place last year. This is a punishable act, and special services are working on it. I would like to hope that similar actions that are subject to prosecution will be revealed (as - ed.) And the person behind these provocative actions

- said on January 30, 2019 the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, answering the question about the next wave of “mining” of administrative and social facilities that swept through Russia in January 2019, reports «РИА Новости».

For example, only in Ivanovo received four e-mail messages about the bombs planted in the premises at once. This information Interfax confirmed by an informed source who said the police were checking this information. Having specified that evacuation is carried out in schools number 4, 21, 22 and 32, as well as in the regional hospital. In addition, the source had the assumption that all schools, kindergartens and hospitals in Ivanovo received similar messages, just that in some institutions employees do not regularly check e-mails.

Approximately the same situation has developed in Lipetsk. The representative of the city department for civil defense and emergency situations has already reported «РИА Новости»that on January 30, 2019, the Lipetsk Department of Education received information about mining. Evacuation is already underway in hospitals, schools and administrative buildings.

It became known that the educational institutions of Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan Oblast (about 10 schools), Veliky Novgorod (all schools were closed) received reports of mining. In Barnaul, 48 objects of social significance (administrative buildings, schools and hospitals) were “mined”. Large shopping centers also received threatening letters in Tambov. A similar situation is in Vologda, Vladimir, Murmansk, Shakhty (Rostov Region). And in Petrozavodsk even the city hall was evacuated! All threats turned out to be false, law enforcement agencies did not find suspicious objects.

It must be recalled that this has already happened in Russia before. Calls about the "mining" began on September 11, 2017 and continued for several months (shopping centers were particularly "popular"). Then a wave of anonymous messages covered 75 of the 85 regions of our country. Only in Moscow there were about 600, and in the Moscow region 100. The damage from this amounted to about 150 million rubles. More than 2 million people were evacuated.
