Named the most shameful US media fakes about Russia

The past few years have shown that where it comes to Russia, the American media do not shy away from publishing the most ridiculous falsifications.

The Intercept portal, known for its publication of Edward Snowden's documents, has compiled a list of the “most shameful” fakes about Russia launched by the American media.

It is easy to guess that this is not about traditional bears with balalaikas and samovars, which in this case can be considered positive fakes, but about falsifications regarding Russia's interference in the US elections.

There is no point in discussing each of the fakes separately. In order to understand their absurdity, it is enough to give them a general list:

- Slate publication of October 31, 2016: publication of the existence of a secret server through which Trump maintained communication with the Kremlin;

- The Guardian edition of November 2018: material that Paul Manafort was able to get unseen three times in the Ecuadorian embassy to meet Julian Assange;

- CNN edition of July 27, 2018: an article on the intentions of the former lawyer of President Michael Cohen to report to Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller about the construction of the Trump Tower in Moscow;

BuzzFeed edition: material on the construction of Trump Tower in Moscow;

CNN and MSNBC editions of December 9, 2017: material that Donald Trump Jr. knew in advance about the correspondence of the National Committee of the Democratic Party, published later by WikiLeaks.
