A member of the Reddit forum, allegedly an employee of Samsung Corporation, who, however, has already managed to delete his account, told about the "secrets" of the gadget.
But the impetus for the discussion was a live photo, which was posted by another "forum member" under the nickname Hissick27. The picture shows a device that is really very similar to the Galaxy S10 +, when compared with the December video presentation. Narrow frames, a dual front camera embedded in the screen in the right corner - everything matches.
The "insider" himself said that he also owns a "test" version of the device. To begin with, according to him, the smartphone fits comfortably in the hand, and its dimensions roughly correspond to Note 9. True, the S10 + weighs lighter. As for the "hole" in the screen under the front camera, it absolutely does not interfere when watching a video and performing other operations.
The face recognition system resembles Apple FaceID. It works stably and efficiently, albeit a little longer than usual. And yet, it is not based on scanning the iris (at least in the test assembly). The fingerprint sensor is located at the bottom of the display, but you have to look for it, because it is not displayed on the lock screen (this may be fixed by the time of the presentation).
Bixby Voice Assistant has not changed much. However, it has not yet been discovered and the previously promised "breakthrough" innovations that fundamentally distinguish the Galaxy S10 + from previous models of the flagship devices of the company.
