Lukashenko refused to unite Belarus and Russia

4
The topic of relations between Russia and Belarus has long been an occasion for numerous speculations, the resonance from which sometimes provokes a reaction of the first persons of both states.

Another reason for the reaction of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, was the rumors circulated by a number of media outlets about Russia's plans to join a neighboring country with which it has already quite long and strong relations.

According to Lukashenko, all these conversations are “stupid” in the light of the fact that he, together with Russian President Vladimir Putin, “unequivocally determined” that today there is no question of unifying the two countries.

The Belarusian president noted that at present Russia does not have opportunities for unification and takes into account all the consequences that may result from this step.

Information Agency Learned quotes the words of Alexander Lukashenko:

Therefore, it is necessary to calm down and stop these conversations that someone has tilted or tilts someone. Nobody tilts anyone here

According to the Belarusian leader, the key to the strength of the union of the two states is equal rights and taking into account the opinions of the residents of the two countries.

You will have to, Old Man, not pick up a khatynka near Rostov, but somewhere near Lviv, where your "brothers-in-arms" will greet you very warmly, because you helped them refuel their armored vehicles, from which civilians of Donbass are killed, processed at your factories a solarium made from Russian oil you cursed from us. For now, go ahead, restrain yourself, and when your own Nazis throw you off, then S.K. Shoigu will immediately introduce our troops into Belarus, as a union state, and we will, as before, a single country.

To unite countries, it is necessary to prepare public opinion, convince people of the usefulness of this step. And of course everything should be done on the basis of national referendums. In any case, it should be borne in mind that there will be "writers" who will surely kick the leaders with some unflattering assessment in an obscene form.

What is true is true. Russia and Belarus today are not ready for unification. The problem is the ideological disagreement between the two entities (although there is a common point - in fact, they don’t think about the people there or there ... whatever they say). But will they be ready (mainly the economy) - time will tell ... Yes, and Belarusian nationalism bothers me (IMHO) ... it looks like something in Ukrainian ... Maybe I'm somehow wrong, but the repetition of the post-war years (when the western part of the USSR was on fire nationalist fervor (not all, but a significant part) of the Ukrainian SSR and BSSR would not be desirable ... especially on the territory of the RSFSR ...

The whole unification of Russia comes down to the privatization of Belarusian enterprises. Therefore, they cannot agree. Well done "batka".
