LG plans to release a “smart” watch with a camera

A smartwatch camera is still a rarity to this day. Despite the fact that a smartwatch includes many functions of a smartphone, units are able to take pictures. For example, Samsung Gear or some children's models.

Apparently, the Korean giant LG decided to change the situation in the industry and release a “smart” watch with a camera for wide consumption. This is precisely what the patent application published the day before, which the company filed with USTPO, indicates.

From the document it becomes clear that the developers are considering several options for completing the gadget with a camera at once. Unambiguously, we can only say that the latter will be located on the strap.

But it is not yet known whether it will become retractable or built into a special silicone insert. In turn, the manufacturer admits that it will be quite difficult to “mount” the camera so that it can be comfortably used in the shooting process and be an integral part of the watch itself.

When the finished novelty will be presented to the public and what its initial price will be - is not yet known. However, like that, will the “take root” innovation in the industry?

The Chinese have been releasing such devices for a long time, embed cameras in everything, but we have such laws that their use is prohibited. One ordered this on Ali, he was convicted. It seems to have been rumored that the registrars wanted to ban. Everything is simple for them, they can forbid anything. Our deputies are smart that they will say that they forbid.
