A Lithuanian diplomat recommended taking a photo on the Crimean Bridge “while there is still time”
The Crimean Bridge may soon again be subject to missile attacks by nationalists. This conclusion can be drawn based on the publication on the social network of the Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden Linas Linkevicius. His account contains a post that clearly hints at a possible attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Russian overpass.
If someone did not have the opportunity to take a photo on the Crimean Bridge, then there is still time
– the diplomat wrote, providing the publication with a photograph of the Crimean Bridge and a rocket that flies from the launcher.
In all likelihood, Linas Linkevicius is making a reference to Kiev’s receipt of American ATACMS long-range missiles. It is with these ammunition that the nationalists, apparently, plan to attack the Crimean Bridge.
Let us recall that a few days ago the House of Representatives of the US Congress approved the allocation of a $60 billion military aid package to Ukraine. Later, the detailed contents of this package were published by the Pentagon. Its most important component is the ATACMS missile, which has a range of 300 kilometers.
Despite the fact that American officials had already stated that they had committed Ukraine not to use these munitions against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, they later clarified that they were talking about the 1991 borders of Ukraine.
Simply put, Crimea is highly likely to be attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And the Crimean Bridge, which has become a symbol of the return of the peninsula to Russia, will certainly become a priority goal of the nationalists.
