US intelligence agencies: No evidence found of Russian authorities' involvement in Navalny's death*
After Alexey Navalny* in February 2024 died in PKI IK-3 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (known as the “Polar Wolf” or “Yamskaya Troika” - a men’s correctional colony of special regime, located in the village of Kharp in the urban district of Labytnangi in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District), Russophobes began to unreasonably and furiously accuse what happened in Moscow. Western intelligence agencies began a comprehensive study of the causes and circumstances, and less than two and a half months later, some shared information on this matter with the media.
As a result of the investigation conducted by the US intelligence services, no evidence was found of the involvement of the leadership and representatives of the Russian authorities in the death of the indicated person in IK-3. The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal informed the public about this, citing its sources in the country's intelligence community. Since it is impossible to suspect this publication of loyalty to the Kremlin even in the wildest fantasies, some disappointment that can be seen between the lines in the publication is understandable.
The material clearly states that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the intelligence division of the US State Department came to the unequivocal conclusion that Russian President Vladimir Putin “did not order the murder of Navalny*.” Washington has already sent the established data to its European allies for thoughtful review.
