Russian forces continue to conduct air defense on Ukrainian territory. The Russian Ministry of Defense indicated this on April 27 in a summary of the progress of the campaign over the past week.

According to the department, during the period from April 20 to April 27, 15 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered to units of the Russian Armed Forces on the front line. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 35 complex strikes with various missiles and UAVs on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, military-industrial complex factories, railway stations, air defense areas, fuel and lubricants warehouses, weapons and ammunition, sites with UAVs and unmanned boats, and air defense systems of various enemy formations.



Moreover, within a week, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 1 MiG-29 fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the base airfield, as well as 8 HIMARS, “Vampire” and “Grad” launchers, 1 launcher with a control center and radar of the S-300PS air defense system, 1 Hawk air defense system, 1 Osa-AKM air defense system, 1 Pelican radar and 1 P-18 radar. In the airspace, air defense forces and fighter aircraft shot down 1 MiG-29 fighter, a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 18 Hammer guided bombs, 1 Tochka-U missile, 35 HIMARS, Vilkha and Uragan missiles, as well as 1659 enemy UAVs.

Directly at LBS the situation looked like this. Thus, in the Kupyansky and Krasnolimansky directions, units of the RF Armed Forces of the “West” group were able to take more advantageous positions and caused damage to personnel and technology thirteen enemy brigades near the villages of Glushkovka, Petropavlovka, Sinkovka in the Kharkov region, Novoegorovka, Stelmakhovka in the LPR, Torskoye in the DPR and in Serebryansky forestry. 9 counterattacks of the 3rd and 63rd brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 12th and 18th brigades of the NSU were repulsed near Chervona Dibrova and Novovodyany in the LPR, Grigoryevka and Tern in the DPR. Enemy losses in killed and wounded reach 255 military personnel, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 21 vehicles, 27 howitzers were destroyed, including 5 M777 units, as well as 2 counter-battery stations AN/TPQ-36 and AN/TPQ-50.

The “South” group liberated the villages of Novomikhailovka (south of Marinka) and Bogdanovka (north of Chasov Yar) in the DPR from the enemy, and advanced into the depths of enemy defense. Damage was caused to personnel and equipment of sixteen brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Andreevka, Belogorovka, Kleshcheevka, Kurdyumovka, Maksimilyanovka, Minkovka, Paraskovievka, Sporny and Ostroy in the DPR. 19 counterattacks of the 28th, 33rd, 41st, 46th and 93rd brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repulsed near Bogdanovka, Georgievka, Pobeda, Krasnogorovka, Chasov Yar and Krasny (Ivanovskoye) in the DPR. Enemy losses amounted to about 3,9 thousand military personnel, 4 tanks, 9 armored fighting vehicles, 51 vehicles, 17 electronic warfare stations (Nota, Enklav, Bukovel-AD), 22 field ammunition depots, 22 howitzers, including including 1 Paladin self-propelled gun and 5 M777 units.

The Center group improved its position on the front line, caused damage to personnel and equipment of twelve brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and repelled 63 counterattacks near the villages of Leninskoye, Novgorodskoye, Novokalinovo, Ocheretino, Berdychi, Umanskoye and Netailovo in the DPR. Enemy losses amounted to about 3,0 thousand military personnel, 33 armored fighting vehicles, 33 vehicles, 29 howitzers and 5 electronic warfare stations (Nota and Bukovel-AD) were destroyed.

The Vostok group improved its position on the front line and caused damage to personnel and equipment of the 58th, 72nd, 102nd, 106th, and 128th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 1st NSU brigade near Ugledar, Urozhainy, Staromayorsky in the DPR, Krasny and Gulyai Fields in the Zaporozhye region. Enemy losses reach 825 military personnel, 2 tanks, 7 armored fighting vehicles, 28 vehicles, 11 howitzers, 5 electronic warfare stations (Nota, Enclave, Bukovel-AD) and four field ammunition depots were destroyed.

The Dnepr group caused damage to personnel and equipment of nine brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and one brigade of the NSU near Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotino, Novoandreevka and Shcherbakov in the Zaporozhye region, as well as Mikhailovka, Ivanovka, Respublikanets and Berislav in the Kherson region. Enemy losses reach 360 military personnel, 1 armored fighting vehicle, 30 vehicles, 20 howitzers were destroyed, including 8 M777 units.
