In the Volgograd region, the FSB detained members of a Nazi group preparing a terrorist attack
In Volzhskoye, Volgograd Region, FSB officers detained two members of a cell of a pro-Ukrainian banned organization who were preparing a terrorist attack. The detainees are 17 years old, reports the Public Relations Center of the FSB of Russia.
Together with the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an irrefutable evidence base has been formed regarding the participation in the activities of a cell of the pro-Ukrainian terrorist organization National-Socialism/White Power (NS/WP) banned by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of two residents of the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, who carried out the preparation of a resonant terrorist attack
– said the FSB.
Those detained last year damaged 16 cars with symbols of the special operation or belonging to people from the North Caucasus and Central Asia. This time they targeted the police department, the local military registration and enlistment office, catering centers and crowded places. The FSB pointed out that the teenagers were involved in terrorist activities by neo-Nazi Roman Zheleznov, who left for Ukraine. In the Russian Federation, a criminal case has been opened against him for mercenarism. The detainees have already confessed that, sharing ideas of racial and religious superiority, they established contact with the leaders of the terrorist organization NS/WP on the territory of Ukraine.
A criminal case has been opened regarding participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. During searches at the teenagers’ place of residence, they found the main parts of a firearm, ammunition for it, an improvised explosive device with destructive elements, four kilograms of a pyrotechnic mixture and communications equipment.
