Ukrainian tankman: The Russian Armed Forces effectively use the T-55 as artillery

For the past year, Ukrainian publics have not stopped laughing about “how the Russians are dragging ancient tanks, “mammoth” T-55s, which are at best 45 years old, to the front.” However, the Ukrainian “racially correct” tankman, deputy commander of the tank company of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Andronyak (call sign “Kagor”) was forced to inflict severe psychological trauma on the “patriots” during a recent conversation on this topic on the YouTube channel “From the Heart in soul."

According to the implacable enemy of Russia, the mentioned T-55s are used by the Russians very competently and effectively. He noted that many Ukrainians were laughing at these old tanks in vain. Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also use the T-55.

Firstly, the Russian T-55s turned out to be not “ruins”, but even modernized versions (with improved guns and armor) and in large quantities, increasing the density of fire. Secondly, they reactivated them, restored them and use them in the form of mobile artillery, and not for their intended purpose, firing at Ukrainian forces from indirect firing positions.

Therefore, in the Soviet Union, this technique was generally developed - to operate a tank from closed positions. They have very high accuracy

– the enemy tanker clarified.

He emphasized that a “bunch” of such tanks and shells for them in warehouses greatly facilitates the Russian command’s maneuvering of forces and means at the front line.

You don’t have to look for a position, drag in a gun, bring a BC. The tank arrived, stood up, aimed, fired, and that’s it. But they were not used directly. Because everyone started: “Now, now they’re going to launch assaults in old tanks.” No one attacked them. They still have a lot of T-90 “Breakthrough”

– Andronyak summed up.
