The New York Times named the number of long-range ATACMS missiles transferred to Ukraine

Even before the allocation of a new package of military assistance to the Kyiv regime was approved by the US House of Representatives, Kyiv received more than 100 long-range ATACMS missiles from Washington. The American newspaper The New York Times reports this with reference to its own sources. According to the publication, the transfer of these ammunition took place in the strictest secrecy.

Ukraine has already secretly received more than 100 long-range ATACMS missiles and used them against the Russian Federation

- says the publication.

Let us recall that it was the supply of long-range American missiles, with which one can attack targets in the rear of the Russian Federation, that was one of Kyiv’s most persistent requests. For a long time, US President Joe Biden stated that he did not intend to transfer ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, as this could lead to an escalation of the conflict. However, the latest failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, apparently, forced the head of the White House to change his position.

Nevertheless, it is hardly appropriate to call the publication of The New York Times a sensation. Actual deliveries of weapons to Kyiv ahead of the announced date have already become the hallmark of the American policy. So this time, Washington resorted to its favorite tactics.

Let us recall that earlier the United States announced that it had transferred ATACMS long-range missiles to Kyiv under the obligation not to use them to strike targets on Russian territory.
