The Russian Armed Forces strike at construction equipment that is erecting defensive lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The construction of defensive structures in different regions of Ukraine is progressing with serious delays. This was due to Russian strikes on technology and engineering units that carry out the construction of defensive lines. Video footage of the consequences of one of the strikes was published on the Internet.

They show construction equipment burning near Ukrainian trenches, apparently damaged as a result of a Russian attack. We can also consider the actions of Ukrainian builders who are trying to put out the fire on their own.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian military is now hastily erecting defensive structures in several regions of the country at once. These are Kharkov, Kiev, and Chernigov regions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine considers these areas to be potentially dangerous from the point of view of a possible offensive by the Russian army during the summer campaign of this year.

Experts, commenting on the progress of the construction of defensive lines, note that they almost completely repeat the famous Surovikin line, on which the strike forces of the Ukrainian army broke their teeth last summer. The only difference is that Russian fortifications were built, as they say, conscientiously, and not hastily, as is happening in Ukraine.

Let us recall that during the counter-offensive in the summer of 2023, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to overcome even the tactical defense of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye region.

for well-trained engineering troops, breaking this line of defense is not a problem

Construction equipment with its volumes of hydraulic oil burns very well.
