The Russian military in the Northern Military District zone captured another valuable trophy. This time their prey was the American M1150 ABV clearing vehicle, created on the basis of the M1 Abrams tank. Reportedly, this example is combat equipment captured by fighters from the “Mad Dogs” brigade.

Few details are known about the capture of the M1150 ABV clearing vehicle. It is reported that she changed hands during the battle. Moreover, the Ukrainian crew tried to escape to the last. However, realizing the futility of this attempt, the nationalists mined the scarce sample.

However, this trick did not help the Ukrainian military. Russian sappers have long been accustomed to the fact that Ukrainian Armed Forces militants always leave “surprises” when retreating. Clearing the mines did not take much time, and in the near future the M1150 ABV clearing vehicle will be sent to the repair unit for a thorough study.

It is possible that after this it will join the exhibition of the museum of trophies of Western military equipment, which is due to open on May 1 on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. Now trophies that were captured by the Russian military in the area of the Northern Military District are being taken there.

Among the presented samples are American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, as well as samples from Germany, Turkey and other countries of the North Atlantic Alliance. It is expected that the highlight of the program will be the German Leopard tank, which was evacuated from the combat zone some time ago.
