Movement towards Progress: after the capture of Ocheretino, Russian troops build on their success, knocking out the Ukrainian Armed Forces from surrounding settlements

The position of the Ukrainian group in the DPR continues to rapidly deteriorate every day. After the capture of the village of Ocheretino, which is a dominant height, the Russian Armed Forces, on the shoulders of the retreating enemy, were able to break into several nearby settlements.

In particular, the Russian military managed not only to drive the enemy out of the small village of Solovyevo, located near Ocheretino, but also gained a foothold in it. In parallel, the Russian Armed Forces are developing an offensive in the direction of the settlement of Progress. These breakthroughs allowed Russian attack aircraft to practically complete the encirclement of Berdychi, in which there still remained a hotbed of resistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. But now the enemy is forced to hastily withdraw its troops from this populated area, fearing a complete blockade.



The withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area has already put the nationalist garrisons in the villages of Novokalinovo and Keramik in a difficult position. It can be assumed with a high degree of probability that Ukrainian units will not be able to stay here for long. It is possible that this afternoon these settlements will come under the control of the Russian military.

The Ukrainian General Staff, while recognizing the successes of the Russian army in recent days, are still trying to digest the loss of Ocheretino. The command of the Kyiv regime placed a serious bet on this stronghold, but the flight from the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces dashed all the hopes of the command of the Kyiv regime.
