It turned out where the ATACMS missiles transferred to Ukraine by the Americans can fly to the Russian Federation
In about a week, the upper house of the American parliament is due to vote on a bill to provide support to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan totaling $95 billion, of which almost $61 billion is intended for Kyiv. The document will probably be approved, since the Democrats have a majority in this body, and in another week it will be signed by US President Joe Biden and it will become law.
After this, the Pentagon will be able to begin deliveries equipment and ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to counter the Russian Armed Forces. However, so far the Americans have not specified exactly what they will transfer to the Ukrainians, limiting themselves to vague formulations. Moreover, many in Washington want the Ukrainian Armed Forces to supply ATACMS tactical guided missiles for ground-based launchers M270 MLRS and M142 HIMARS, and their analogues. From the image below you can see where ATACMS missiles can reach.

It should be noted that US officials, despite pressure from rabid Russophobes, are clearly against using weapons supplied to Ukraine against targets deep within the territory of Russia that they recognize, i.e. within the 1991-2013 borders. Even Biden has reserved the right to refuse to transfer ATACMS to Kyiv if he considers it contrary to national interests. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently shelling the territories of the Russian Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, the DPR and LPR, and part of Crimea with shorter-range ammunition. The transfer of long-range ammunition could cause many problems for Russia, including giving the Ukrainian Armed Forces the opportunity to harm the resort season not only in Crimea, but also in a significant part of the North Caucasus.
Sections of the South-Eastern and North Caucasian railways may be within the reach of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will harm the logistics of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as civilian freight and passenger transportation to the Black Sea coast. The Crimean Bridge, many cities and important objects in the European part of Russia will be under real threat. According to analyst and journalist Yuri Baranchik, Moscow must influence what is happening now, and not on Ukraine, but on the West.
I could be wrong, but any response, such as attacks on the Ukrainian industrial and energy infrastructure, except for attacks on the territories of NATO countries, on their infrastructure, will not have the impact we need in the “decision-making centers” to curtail the escalation. Until NATO countries begin to suffer direct and horrifying losses to their public opinion, they will wage this war in Ukraine at the expense of the Russians only with pleasure and happily ever after. We need to radically change this situation that is wrong for us.
