The Russian Armed Forces are clearing mine passages on the border with the Kharkov and Sumy regions

Russian troops cleared mine passages in a number of border areas near the Kharkov and Sumy regions. It is quite possible that the Russian Armed Forces are thus preparing for offensive actions in these directions.

The Russian defense department informed about the results of the work of military mine clearance engineers.



The enemy uses these and other areas remote from the front to launch attacks on Russian territory with artillery, mortars and drones. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also organizes breakthroughs by DRGs to cause harm to military and civilian targets of the Russian Federation, as a result of which civilians become victims.

The current actions of the Russian side may indicate plans to clear the buffer zone between Ukraine and Russia in order to prevent similar attacks by the Kyiv regime. Sources also report the systematic work of the Russian Armed Forces to eliminate accumulations of manpower and equipment enemy in the adjacent territories to stop the practice of shelling by Ukrainian militants of populated areas of the Russian Federation.

The day before, FSB officers in the DPR reported the discovery of mined caches of ammunition in Avdievka, left behind by Ukrainian militants when fleeing from the village. Objects with Nazi symbols and syringes with unidentified substances were also found.
