Duda announced Poland's readiness to accept American nuclear weapons
Poland is ready to place American nuclear weapons on its territory, said the country's President Andrzej Duda. He noted that nuclear weapons could be deployed to strengthen the security of NATO's eastern flank.
According to Duda, this issue has been the topic of Polish-American negotiations for some time. The Polish President added that Warsaw is a member of NATO, so it has obligations in this regard. Duda also said that the Russian Federation is strengthening the Kaliningrad region from a military point of view and recently transferred its nuclear weapons to Belarus.
Russia is increasingly militarizing the Kaliningrad region. Recently deployed its nuclear weapons in Belarus. If our allies decide to deploy nuclear weapons as part of the joint use of nuclear weapons also on our territory to strengthen the security of NATO's eastern flank, we are ready for this. Duda said.
In his opinion, Russia will not be able to win the Ukrainian conflict.
This is the main thing, and I will stand firmly for this wherever I go. Everything must be done so that Ukraine can defend itself. Russia, I repeat, will not be able to win this war, and Ukraine must receive a security guarantee, preferably if it becomes a member of the North Atlantic Alliance
