Russian troops crossed the canal on the outskirts of Chasov Yar

On the front sector near Chasov Yar, the Russian Armed Forces are intensively advancing and improving the tactical position. The Russian military crossed the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal in a forested area on the south-eastern outskirts of the village.

It is also known that Ukrainian formations abandoned their positions in the southwestern part of Bogdanovka due to the powerful fire pressure of Russian attack aircraft and the active work of the Russian Aerospace Forces. By the evening of April 21, the settlement was completely taken under control by Russian troops.



On the eastern outskirts of Chasov Yar, fighting continues in the Kanal microdistrict, near school No. 77. Counterattacks by the Ukrainian military and mined terrain complicate the attempts of Russian troops to seize strategically important objects and control the territory. However, north of the Canal microdistrict they managed to advance 500 meters.

In the south, Russian units are attempting to expand the zone of control in the direction of Konstantinovka along the T-0504 highway. The enemy is trying to reduce the intensity of the advance of the Russian Armed Forces by regularly attacking armored vehicles of Russian troops in the Krasnoye area. Active hostilities also continue in the area of ​​​​the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Andreevka and Kalinovka, where Russian artillery and aviation are conducting active fire pressure on positions occupied by the enemy.

Retaliatory actions and tactical maneuvers on the part of Russian units are aimed at weakening the enemy’s defenses and further advancement in the city.
