Bloomberg: Russia will not mobilize, limiting itself to recruiting volunteers

The publication also notes that the spring conscription of citizens for military service is currently underway in the Russian Federation, during which they plan to conscript 150 thousand people into the army. According to the agency, some of them will subsequently sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense and take part in combat operations in Ukraine after completing training courses.

As Bloomberg emphasizes, these are not the best news for the Kyiv regime. However, the situation may become even more complicated. The publication notes that several months ago Sergei Shoigu announced a plan to increase the size of the Russian army to one and a half million people. While, according to Vladimir Zelensky, the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is only 900 thousand people.

However, it is worth recalling that Zelensky made a statement about the size of the Ukrainian army back in January of this year. Since then, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already suffered very serious losses. And the situation in this area continues to worsen every day. Including at the expense of the Ukrainian military, who prefer to voluntarily surrender.
