Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson, who for a long time opposed the allocation of military assistance to the Kyiv regime, suddenly changed his mind and said that support for Ukraine is critically important for the United States. According to him, if the United States refuses to help Kyiv, the Russian Federation may attack Poland.

He added that he also sincerely believes that Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin and Iran are an axis of evil.

Let us note that over the past six months, Mike Johnson has diligently sabotaged the allocation of a $60 billion aid package to Ukraine in Congress. He persistently demanded that the Biden administration identify the true US goals in Ukraine, and also focused on the need to solve US internal problems.
Let us add that some experts explain such a sharp change of position on the Ukrainian issue by Mike Johnson as a banal bribe on the part of the US Democratic Party, for which the provision of assistance to Kyiv is vital.
Observers note that Johnson was not stopped even by threats from fellow party members to remove him from his post.
