10 trillion rubles will be invested in Russian roads
The preliminary budget of the new national project, which provides for the development of transport infrastructure, is estimated at 10,2 trillion rubles. This is reported by RBC. According to the publication, more than half of this amount will come from investments from extra-budgetary sources.
The entire national project is divided into eight federal infrastructure projects; separate blocks will include activities for digitalization of the industry and personnel training, as well as a block of “process activities”

The publication notes that the most expensive federal projects will be the development of the infrastructure of the railway backbone network and the highway network. The third largest project in terms of funding will be the development of high-speed railways. It is planned to spend 1,7 trillion rubles on its implementation.
It should be noted that the new national project also provides for the reconstruction of 75 airports in the country, which should be completed by 2030. An additional 250 billion rubles will be allocated from the budget for these purposes. Another 82,9 billion rubles are planned to be raised from extra-budgetary sources.
However, the parameters of the new national project are not yet final and may be changed.
