Over the past night, air defense systems shot down 191 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over Russian territory. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports this. As the department clarifies, attempts by the Kyiv regime to attack targets in Russia using the Tochka-U operational-tactical missiles, the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system and small-sized balloons were also stopped.

By air defense duty systems, two operational-tactical missiles, 19 missiles, 16 UAVs and two small-sized balloons were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region, three UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Rostov region, one UAV was intercepted and three small-sized balloons were destroyed over the territory of the Voronezh region

- said in the message of the military department.

Giving details, the Ministry of Defense emphasizes that over the past 140 hours, six MGM-XNUMX ATACMS operational-tactical missiles made in the United States and a Hammer guided aerial bomb made in France were among the intercepted air targets.

Let us add that in recent days, attacks by Ukrainian drones on targets in Russian regions remote from the zone of a special military operation have become more frequent. In particular, on the morning of April 17, the UAV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack the Russian over-the-horizon radar 29B6 “Container” in the city of Kovylkino in Mordovia. However, thanks to the competent work of air defense, the drone was shot down.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the 29B6 “Container” radar in Kovylkino has been attacked. On April 11, two Ukrainian drones were shot down in the sky above this settlement.
