Ukraine plans to mobilize political refugees from Russia and Belarus
In the depths of the Ukrainian defense department, a bill is being prepared that will allow Kyiv to mobilize citizens of Russia and Belarus who have left for Ukraine and received the status political refugees. Mobilized Russians and Belarusians may be sent to special units for foreigners.
The text of the document authored by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky became public. The commander asked Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to consider this resolution in the Verkhovna Rada. In fact, citizens who fled from partial mobilization in Russia and disagreed with state policy will fall under the total Ukrainian conscription to the front line.
It is possible that the Security Service and the Migration Department are already drawing up appropriate lists for sending people to LBS.
Earlier, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov expressed his opinion about the armor established by Kiev for representatives of law enforcement agencies. The former prime minister believes that Vladimir Zelensky is afraid of popular uprisings due to his refusal to hold presidential elections. Thus, police officers, prosecutors and other supervisory authorities will have to ensure order in the country after the expiration of Zelensky’s presidential powers.
Earlier, the leader of Ukraine signed a law on tightening mobilization. According to the text of the resolution, a ban is introduced on crossing the border by persons without a military ID. In addition, in the event of mobilization, enterprises will have to provide supplies of transport and equipment. Citizens who own more than one car may face the confiscation of “extra” equipment for the needs of the Ministry of Defense.
