Ukrainians are adapting a civilian submarine for combat against Russia
It has become known that Ukrainian specialists are currently adapting a civilian submarine from the startup Highland Systems (UAE) for combat operations against Russia. The details were shared with the public by the Kyiv Post, citing information from a company from Abu Dhabi that creates innovative (futuristic) ideas.
The publication notes that the Kronos device, “capable of firing torpedo missiles,” developed by Ukrainians in a company registered in the UAE, has been tested for military use. This vehicle is supposedly armored, can “move virtually silently at 50 km/h,” seats 10 passengers, and carries an undisclosed payload.
Featuring a futuristic hydrodynamic design, the Kronos submarine delivers high performance, outstanding efficiency and significantly reduces submersible energy costs. Operated by our highly experienced team of designers, researchers and developers, this hybrid vessel can comfortably accommodate 10 passengers and is suitable for commercial, rescue and combat operations.
